Providing necessary care to those we serve covers a wide range of services that is dependent on an individual’s needs. To ensure transparency while fostering consumer engagement, the Centers of Medicaid & Medicare Services (CMS) established a set of formal rulings that impact consumers and staff who deliver care spanning from community life through long term care, and everything in between. These mandated rules require providers to evaluate their current practices and pursue new creative solutions to meet the criteria. With the increasing demands being placed on this industry, and continuing workforce constraints, how do consumers and providers manage a human services system that begins to place more emphasis on community, choice, and transparency? Join us at the conference as we explore and offer new perspectives and innovative solutions related to compliance, policy, workforce challenges and trends as we begin discussions about what’s next for the aging and disability services system.
